 Pilot Project for Government School Children 

Pilot Project executed for Government School Children by Indian Abacus during 
2016 - 17 in Tamil Nadu

As per the Direction from Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, Department of School Education & Literacy, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi, the Director, Directorate of Elementary Education, DPI Campus, Chennai Tamil Nadu has asked us to do a Pilot Project of Indian Abacus program for Government Schools Children in two Districts of Tamil Nadu on 3rd August 2016. Accordingly, we are executing a Pilot Project in Villupuram and Vellore districts for 50 schools, 2500 students and 105 teachers are trained in  Basic level of Abacus Program to teach Abacus for the children of 5 - 13 years children of PUMS - Panchayat Union Middle School.

 

The entire program is of free of Cost. The 1st level is completed by the students and 2nd level is in progress after 2nd level training is given to the teachers and the necessary course materials also provided to the children.

Pilot Projects for Government School 2007 - 2008

We executed Pilot Projects for Government Schools in the year 2007 - 2008

Under instruction from the Director of Elementary Education, Govt. of Tamil Nadu, for executing a Pilot Project in  Abacus Mental Arithmetic Training for 3rd, 4th & 5th class students, More than 5000 students from 50 schools participated in the project and and also trained 100 Teachers to train the students in the year of 2007.

Abacus based Mental Arithmetic course Pilot Project for Government School Children - 2007-08 (Thiruvallur & Kanchipuram District) Tamil Nadu.

Abacus Based Mental Arithmetic Pilot Project had been completed for Panchayat Union Middle School (PUMS) students,  Government of Tamil Nadu (Directorate of Elementary Education) to create awareness on Abacus program and its practical benefits to the children. 50 schools in Thiruvallur and Kanchipuram Districts. 100 Teachers were trained. Indian Abacus provided three level course materials free of cost to 5000 students who were trained under this project. 

All 5000 students participated enthusiastically with high spirit. The project had been appreciated by Minister for Education, Government of Tamil Nadu. Directors of Primary School Education, DEEOs, AEEOs and parents.

Indian Abacus Tutor training for
MSSRF and  VKC teachers, Chennai

MS Swaminathan Research Foundation and Indian Abacus jointly executed a pilot project for Village Knowledge Centre (VKC) in the year August 2015

 

In order to train deserving children in Village Knowledge Centres, we imparted Indian Abacus training for 16 VKC Heads. They were given 1st Level Abacus Training at MSSRF, Taramani, Chennai. Students Study Training Materials were given free of cost. Subsequently children were given coaching by VKC Heads and study materials were also given free of cost.

M S SWAMINATHAN RESEARCH FOUNDATION (MSSRF) and INDIAN ABACUS JOINT RESEARCH PROJECT (PILOT) AND PILOT PROJECT FOR VKC (VILLAGE KNOWLEDGE CENTRE)

Tsunami disaster hit the state of Tamilnadu Seashore areas on 26th December 2004 and lakhs of people were affected and children were left homeless and lost books and disturbed education. As a socially responsible company, Indian Abacus imparted Abacus Based Mental Arithmatic Course to the affected children jointly with World Vision India in the year 2007. 

Our group company, Indian Abacus education had been adopted by world Vision to effectively remove the trauma experienced by the children on account of poverty due to  the natural disasters.  The skill provider - Abacus education is a Mind healer too.  In the last 6-7 years, we had taken up more than 4 projects of the NGO, World Vision India, with whom we had tied up to offer Indian Abacus education to more than 30 school centres, benefiting the very poor children in the states of Tamil Nadu & Bihar.  While World Vision India financed the projects, Our  group company viz. Indian Abacus program was executed to the underprivileged children of these centres as a non-profit endeavor, to deliver our part of the responsibility towards the Society in general and in particular the children’s education. 

The company  jointly with World Vision India offered abacus coaching  to the tsunami affected children – 2007.

Indian Abacus Pilot Project for
5 Government School Children in Thiruvarur District, Tamilnadu

Indian Abacus Pilot Projects for 5 (Panchayat Union Middle School) PUMS schools are being executed from July 2017. 40 students each from PUMS in Mel Radha Nallur, Mel Thirumathi Kunnam, Chettysimizhi, Abivirutheeswaram, Kilarium are being benefitted in the program. All course materials were supplied free of cost to all the five school children. All students are learning abacus based mental arithmetic program with keen interest. We are receiving excellent feedback from school authorities and parents / students. PUMS ORDER    INVITATION

Indian Abacus Free Training program for Government School Children in Paramathi, Vellore District, Tamilnadu

Indian Abacus in association with Kalam Welfare Trust trained 40 students of PUMS School and all the 40 students were given course materials free of cost in March 2017. 3 teachers were also given training free of cost at the Indian Abacus, Salem Center. All the students participated enthusiastically and got benefitted.
