Indian Abacus based Mental Arithmetic – A Whole Brain Development Program
Indian Abacus Mental Arithmetic program, which enhances the Mental Arithmetic skills of the children of the age group 5 – 13 years in the process of training in 8 levels of the program and upgrades brain skills of them through high levels of CONCENTRATION, fine quality LISTENING SKILLS, VISUALIZATION (Imaging skills) of exceptional nature, thus making the children proficient in Academics. The mode of training is done through Arithmetic calculations done on Abacus which results in very high SPEED and unflinching ACCURACY in the calculations beating the calculator.
The program duration is 2 years for completing the 8 levels, each level taking 3 months at least and the child should attend a 2 hrs duration of classroom activity per week. In the first 2 levels, the child would exclusively work on physical Abacus and from the third level on wards the child would be made to slowly internalize the abacus and to work on the imaginary abacus and sliders. The transition from physical abacus to mental / imaginary abacus calculation makes the children jump to a high speed and accuracy levels, which the untrained children cannot match with their calculations of conventional methodology.
There is therefore a visible and great jump in their Arithmetic calculations, which is again due to their enhanced brain skills. The Abacus-trained children excel in Arithmetic and also in all other subjects which is a reflection of their highly enhanced brain skills.
